One police oga wey tok to our reporter say wen im men first come to stop di looting on Sunday morning, dem bin no fit do much sake of di huge number of pipo wey attack di facility.
Dis oga wey no wan make we tok im name becos im no be di FCT police tok-tok pesin tok say im gatz mobilize more men from all di division around bifor dem fit to regain control of di warehouse.
“By dat time di whole place don dey empty. No be only food dem loot, dem also take anything wey dey of value for di buildings, doors, windows, toilet seats, plumbing wares, even di aluminum roofing sheets,” di police officer tok.
“But we don begin investigation and we don dey make arrests and we don even recover some of di stolen items.”
Our tori pesin observe say di buildings wey come under attack include one big warehouse, one smaller warehouse and two office buildings, plus two silos wia dem dey store grains.

BBC Pidgin saw some women, and even some little children wey wear school uniform, as dem still dey park some of di corn wey trowey for ground wey pipo don even match foot.
One of di women tok say dem no get any choice sake of di high cost of food for market.
“My brother, if I reach house now, I go pour am inside water, di stones go go down and di corn go come up, I go take am feed my children,” she tok.
“As pipo dey struggle for food yesterday, you know say we women we no go fit join di struggle, na dis one wey don pour for ground we fit gather take feed family.”
We notice di presence of plenty police officers for inside and around di warehouse facility. Di police bin arrest some pipo as our reporter dey dia.
Some policemen follow one of di young men wey dem arrest enter im house wia dem see a small bag of corn for inside im room. Dem carry di man and di bag of corn put for dia car wey also get oda small small bags of corn wey dem collect from suspects wey dem arrest.

One man wey im workshop dey just beside di warehouse tok say dis no be di first time di warehouse pipo dey vandalise di warehouse.
“E bin don happun for around 2021, dat one dey worse pass dis one. Pipo pack even di wood for di roof, nothing remain,” di man tok.
“Na true say hunger dey di country, but if na only food dis pipo carry for here, I go understand, but why you go carry roofing sheet or toilet seat, you wan chop dat one too?” E ask.
Our reporter also see one young man wey wunjure during di looting spree. Di boy no fit waka after im fall from height as e dey drag bag of corn and land on im waist.
Im tell di BBC say pipo bin carry am go hospital but dem tok say im suppose do scan and as im no get money, dem carry am come back.
“Dat boy na orphan, e no get mama e no get papa. Im dey stay wit one of im relative wey dey help am, now see wetin don happen,” a neighbour tell BBC Pidgin.
Di Minister of State for di FCT, Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, on Monday morning, don go see di extent of di looting, and she promise say security go dey beefed up and dem go rebuild di area.
